I am LAWAL Muhammed Shittu, Male, Married with children, and a Nigerian. I graduated from the first University in Nigeria, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, where I obtained B.Sc (Hons), Second Class Upper, M.Sc and Ph.D degrees all in Wildlife and Ecotourism Management. Also, I was awarded the best graduating Wildlife Management Bachelor Degree student in the University. I was equally awarded Raymond Zard scholarship of the Univerity on two occassions. My area of specialization & research interests cover:
a. Wildlife Economics & Extension
b. Eco-Tourism Management
c. Biodiversity/Environmental Conservation
My lecturing experience in the university environment include international and local. At present, I lectures in University of Rwanda, Department of Forestry and Nature Conservation and also a researcher at the Centre of Excellence in Biodiversity and
Natural Resources Management, Huye, Rwanda. Back home in Nigeria, I had thought and carried out research activities as full-time employer in both Federal and state-owned universities. I have acquired teaching and research experiences with publications in International and Local Journals.
